Les chercheurs ont d'abord fait courir des souris une heure par jour, cinq jours par semaine, pendant deux semaines. Ils les ont ensuite expos\u00e9es \u00e0 une lumi\u00e8re toxique tr\u00e8s vive, puis les ont remises \u00e0 l'entra\u00eenement pour deux semaines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Corps\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"Corps\">Les r\u00e9sultats de l'\u00e9tude, publi\u00e9s dans le <em>Journal of Neuroscience<\/em>, ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les animaux qui s'\u00e9taient exerc\u00e9s avaient perdu la moiti\u00e9 moins de cellules photor\u00e9ceptrices que ceux qui ne s'\u00e9taient pas entra\u00een\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Corps\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"Corps\">De plus, les cellules r\u00e9tiniennes des souris qui avaient fait de l'exercice r\u00e9pondaient mieux \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re et avaient des niveaux plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s de facteurs neurotrophiques (BDNF), une prot\u00e9ine favorisant la croissance et la sant\u00e9 des cellules.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Corps\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"Corps\">\u00ab\u00a0C'est la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude qui d\u00e9montre l'effet direct d'un exercice simple sur la sant\u00e9 r\u00e9tinienne et la vision, souligne la D<sup>re<\/sup> Machelle Pardue, de l'Universit\u00e9 Emory.
