Peter Lothes is the new president of Satisloh North America.
Lothes will be responsible for sales and operations for Satisloh in Canada and the U.S. He is replacing Larry Clarke, who was appointed president and COO of Satisloh AG last fall and relocated to Switzerland.
A graduate of Ashland University, in Ohio, Lothes was president of his family's business, Select Optical, for over 17 years. The Columbus laboratory was acquired by Essilor of America in 2004. Five years later, Lothes became vice-president of operationspartner labs at Essilor of America, a position he held until recently. He was responsible for Essilor's five largest production labs in the U.S. and Mexico.
