Optometry Practice strategy Series

test post by DGP

Eye Care Business Canada is launching the Optometry Practice Strategy Series, a new national webinar program designed to help Canadian optometrists strengthen the business side of practice ownership and management.

The series will feature expert-led sessions on timely practice topics including social media marketing, tax strategy, practice valuation, operational systems, artificial intelligence tools, team management, wealth planning and emerging service opportunities in optometry.

The first webinar in the series, Social Media in Practice Marketing, will take place June 24 at 7 p.m. ET and will be presented by Dr. Alexa Hecht, a Toronto-based optometrist whose strong social media presence has played an instrumental role in growing her practice.

Dr. Hecht has built a significant online following, with more than 60,000 followers on TikTok and 36,000 followers on Instagram. In this session, she will share practical insights on how optometrists can use social media to build visibility, connect with patients, and support practice growth in a professional and sustainable way.

The course has been COPE qualified for 1 hour of continuing education credit under COPE ID #104574-GO.

The Optometry Practice Strategy Series is designed for optometrists at different stages of practice life, whether they are building a new clinic, growing an established business, or planning for future transition. Each session will focus on practical, business-relevant information delivered by subject matter experts in their respective fields.

Registration for the series is available at no cost.
